Salary: £42,000 - £47,000pa (plus LW if applicable)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Hybrid working home anywhere in UK, or office based (London, Cardiff, Belfast, Glasgow) with travel required throughout UK

About the role
Mockingbird, led by The Fostering Network in the UK, delivers sustainable foster care. This exciting programme is currently working with over sixty fostering services across England, Scotland and Wales, and is looking to grow further. Mockingbird is an evidence-based model structured around the support and relationships an extended family provides. The model nurtures the relationships between children, young people and foster families supporting them to build a resilient and caring community.
We are seeking a new Operations Manager to be responsible for the management oversight of the events and administration function within the Mockingbird team as well as the evaluation, monitoring and evaluation team.

You will join the team at an exciting time of growth for the programme, in a role that offers a high level of variety and the opportunity to have a genuine impact on the experiences and outcomes for looked after children and fostering families.
The post holder will also be required to work collaboratively across the organisation and with management teams, to share learning, and develop new programming based on learning from Mockingbird and programmes across The Fostering Network.
This role can either be based at home or in one of our country offices located in London, Cardiff, Glasgow and Belfast but will require travel within the UK on a regular basis.
